Amplifier Ventures provides early stage venture capital to emerging software businesses. It generally is the first institutional investor in each of its investments, and works with entrepreneurs to grow world class companies. Amplifier’s investment team members have played active roles in the formation, development and exit of many successful emerging companies. Its mission is to be a leading entrepreneur-friendly seed and early stage venture capital fund for intellectual property driven businesses by working closely with strategically aligned universities and other venture capital funds to generate superior returns for our limited partners. Operating since 2005, Amplifier is an active investor in SAAS, New Media, Open Source and other emerging software business models. Amplifier also operates the Amplifier Network, an online social community targeted on entrepreneurs, the technology for which was developed and is deployed by iBelong Networks.

Established in 1997, CNF is the CEI affiliate that actively invests in venture capital and private equity.
